Getting to the BVI
There are several options to get to the BVI and it's a fairly easy process.
By Airplane to Tortola (EIS)
Coming from the States, you can fly directly into Tortola, via Beef Island (EIS). American Airlines is offering direct flight out of Miami. Alternatively, there are flights from San Juan (SJU). The carriers are:
American Airlines
Caribbean Airlines
Inter Caribbean
Seaborne
Cape Air
Silver Airlines

By Airplane to St Thomas (STT)
By Boat to Tortola - Water Taxi
We strongly recommend the ease of a private water taxi to our guests. Outside the airport, your private land taxi will take you on a 25- minute ride to the water taxi at Red Hook. It takes approximately 30-minutes to arrive in the BVI and the captain will take care of all the clearance paperwork while you relax on the boat with a cold beverage.
We recommend using
Adventure Charters BVI (our sister company)
Antilles Power Boat
Tender Too
Most travelers opt to fly into St Thomas and arrive to the BVI via boat. Fares tend to be better priced on these routes.
The major airlines to St Thomas are:
American Airlines
Delta
Spirit
Jet Blue
By Boat to Tortola - Ferry
It is a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport to the ferry terminal in Charlotte Amalie and takes around one hour. Once landed, you will queue to clear through Immigration and Customs.
